From Barcelona to the streets of SoHo New York, co-founder and Creative Director Bruno Casanovas is paying tribute to the American powerhouses Nude Project is striving towards as his brand lands in one of the world's fashion capitals.

What began as the cool streetwear and lifestyle logos worn on Madonna and Justin Bieber quickly became a staple in Gen Z's wardrobes across Europe and the US. Nude Project has built something more than a clothing brand, an immersive store and a modern day third space 'hangout spot' with a cafe in collaboration with Good News Coffee. With its warm welcome to Greene Street during the city's busiest week of the season, the brand has found itself taking up space where it belongs. Among the young, the creative and the consumers who create the lifestyle Nude Project portrays so well in their marketing.

On that topic, the announcement for their next expansion (from September until December 2026) was no less than creative marketing with a tongue and cheek twist. Highlighting the major release of The Devil Wears Prada sequel this year, Bruno Casanovas tapped into the iconic first film using Miranda Priestly's character as a judgement of good taste. The campaign video generated almost 6000,000 views in its first 24 hours of release and sees Bruno wearing a monogram grey knit sweater, perhaps a nod to Andy Sach's first moment in the Runway office?

It's clear that Nude Project are entering the states with a profound confidence the brand's name belongs with "the greats" and although it may be a 3 month stint in the city, they are certain of their long term impact in fashion. The store will serve as more than a clothing pop-up, "it will bring together fashion, music, film and sport, becoming Nude Project’s biggest activation". The store is designed in true New York fashion with the American dream conveyed in all its smallest details, from the merchandise to the Sex & The City, Wolf of Wall Street and Home Alone II branded posters.
