North London rising star Sidders is a singer/songwriter who shows off his gifted pen in new single ‘Home Alone’, a good-natured love song that encourages you to slow down and smell the roses, enjoying the small moments that are shared with your loved one.
Debut EP ‘About Time’ released in 2019 was recorded from Sidder's bedroom and allowed me to showcase the mixture of lyricism and vocal ability that we're becoming familiar with now.
The Londoner is championing an alternative style of rap that combines poetic language and melodic beats. Produced by Mack Jamieson, it has the perfect tone for summer even though some of his lyrics can be seen as pessimistic. But Sidders still manages to find the bright side in things. He explores that the dark times are the reason why he has an appreciation for the good times.
“This video was really to bring the track to life, its different when people can see the whole creative picture rather than just the song. we filmed between london and Brighton to catch an environment similar to when the track was written and couldnt have had a better team. It was an escape and adventure away from what kept us locked in" says Sidders
Keeping busy, Sidders is currently working on new music to drop over the next few months and he has already performed at Boxpark Wembley’s ‘Next Up Live’.
You can hear the influences of Indie Arie, Angie Stone and Jill Scott in his music which can be considered a blend of R&B and Hip-Hop, as well as indie. This unique blend is also the reason why he has early co-signs from the likes of NiNE8 collective, Bone Slim, Mom Tudi and COLORS.
His enjoy is contagious and we can't wait to hear more music from him.
