Lilah Returns With Second Single ‘Summer Nights Fling’

London's graceful yet alluring newcomer Lilah delivers a Wes Anderson and Quentin Tarantino style music video for ‘Summer Night’s Fling’ full of biblical and millennial film references as she portrays a number of seemingly dangerous female characters.

The visually captivating stylised video taps into the songstress' love of film and gore and sees her undertake the roles of dangerous women throughout film and history including ‘Narcissus’, ‘Eve’ of Adam & Eve, Delilah from the 1949 film ‘Samson and Delilah’ and Natural Born Killers main character Mallory.

Following her recent debut single Lilah's Lullaby, Summer Night’s Fling comes alongside the announcement of the forthcoming release of her 7-track debut EP Atlantis. Releasing on October 22nd, Atlantis is named after the fictional underwater city and will see Lilah "draw on the transcending nature of a psychedelic sound exploring themes including monogamy, inner conflict, growing up, introspection and acceptance and more."

Speaking on the forthcoming project, Lilah comments:

‘Atantis is a city underwater. For me water represents all the contradictions of life, vast, free and intimidating, pressured but calming, Isolating yet shared by everyone. Atlantis is a place of refuse in between all these states of being. A place to simply exist and reflect. That’s where I want to take everyone who hears it. Psychedelics can be transformative, for better or worse, they give you new ways of experiencing the world. That is what the psychedelic sound of Atlantis captures’.
