JW ANDERSON Launches New Website

When Jonathan Anderson stepped down as the creative director of LOEWE, it sent shockwaves throughout the industry. After his eleven year stint with the brand, he was taking his unique creative vision and attention to detail elsewhere. Inevitably further solidifying his creative expertise in the industry across new designer labels.

It was revealed that Anderson’s next move would be to become the sole creative director at Dior beginning this year in June. In this new role he would begin managing any and all upcoming women’s men’s and haute couture collections. Industry professionals were notably enthused by the luxury brand’s decision to shift their creative direction to align with the innovative, playful spirit of Anderson’s perspectives on fashion and functional design.

The designer’s own brand – JW ANDERSON continues to further establish its prevalence in the industry, a label that Jonathan Anderson launched in 2008. Despite the fact that the brand was incredibly early in its’ inception and prevalence in the wider market, the designer secured a coveted spot on the official London Fashion Week calendar in its initial year.

Now he’s launched the latest version of his website, showcasing a wide array of designs from Men’s and Women’s New In, to the iconic loafer bags, to JW at Home. The latter being his “home” related offerings which range from home wares like mugs and bowls – to house shoes, tea towels, and specialty furniture items. The company is clearly evolving into a lifestyle brand beyond designer bags and shoes. This move offers up ways for anyone to get involved with its wider vision.

Known for his unique curatorial approach, JW ANDERSON has become especially known as a hallmark in the wider fashion industry. His designs are not only born of high quality materials and expertly curated hemlines, they are imbued with a nod to play. Having found through lines across industries, the brand continues to create connecting points for fashion, art, and high quality craftsmanship to meet.
