HOMECOMING Festival 2025: A Return to Roots, Rhythm, and Revelry

Since its debut in 2018, HOMECOMING has become a key event on Nigeria’s cultural calendar, connecting the country’s vibrant creative scene to the world. With stars like Drake and Central Cee behind it, the event is known for blending music, fashion, and art into an experience that feels fresh every time. This Easter weekend, it made its highly anticipated return to the capital city of Lagos from April 17th to 20th—and once again, it brought the energy and style that set it apart from any other festival.

Known for hosting major international acts, HOMECOMING took a refreshing turn this year by shifting the focus to homegrown talent. The result was a festival that felt more grounded and personal—one that leaned into its roots and celebrated the very spirit that has defined it from its early days.

Standout appearances came from the likes of Cruel Santino, Odunsi the Engine, and a surprise headline set from Davido, announced on the day of the festival. More big-name acts such as ODUMODUBLVCK and LeoStayTrill also took to the stage, further cementing HOMECOMING’s place at the forefront of Afro music festivals.

This year, HOMECOMING once again proved its dominance on the fashion front. Noteworthy collaborations with Barriers Worldwide, PDF Channel, and Cactus Plant Flea Market, alongside a guest appearance from Olaolu Slawn fresh off the launch of his latest Nike Air Max 95s, set the tone for a powerful celebration of the festival’s cultural roots.

If you would like to attend the festival for yourself, don’t sleep next year.
