Cristale Keeps Her Foot Down With New Track 'Merryland'

South London's Cristale is fast becoming the name on everyone's lips after going viral in the last month with her Hood Heat Cypher on Charlie Sloth's YouTube channel. Adept at flowing on the sound of the year, UK drill beat heat, she returns with her new track "Merryland".

The video shows Cristale in walking her 'happy place', a colour funfair but rapping about deeper subjects and showing she's alone in this game with no competition. The single follows a successful roll-out of tracks this year and freestyles including her "Lemon Pepper Freestyle" and her track "Morgan" that came out in August and has already amassed almost 40,000 views.

As UK Drill becomes more mainstream and 'mellowed out' in the eyes of many critics, Cristale keeps the gritty cold bars that gain her new fans and respect online with every release. It's clear that 2022 will be a real test of this young artist in her quest for national and international recognition.
