Referencing 1990s and 2000s video games to capture the fighting spirit of the campaign, sports photographer Norbert Schoerner animatedly depicts the products drawing back to fighting-genre films.

This the the second collaboration from both lifestyle brands and was brought to life at the Aries Soho store in London on Thursday, May 1st. Born in the home of Herzogenaurach in Germany, Puma has come back with its second collaboration with lifestyle brand Aries Arise. The streetwear London-based label has bred a community of skaters and sports fashionistas on the gravel of Putney Street and beyond the city’s home corners.

The campaign executes a fierce energy and defiant attitude in ritualistic photography featuring fitted one pieces, accessories and footwear. Mixed martial arts is at the core of the collection, captivating the sporty and streetwear audiences of both brands and used as inspiration throughout the campaign’s visuals.

With a strong identity and countercultural references, Aries is aligned with Puma’s culture, sports and performance pillars. The collection features a new interpretation of the 1990s Aries Mastro design, a shoe reintroduced in an ‘ecru/grey mouse’ colourway and ‘mahogany/teak’. This is the shoe that brought the luxury-level destruction of the Aries brand into a new wave of sports and lifestyle which perfectly ties Puma into the collaboration. Both brands coincide in their ability to make physical activities and high energy looks feel stylish and trendy worthy.

The purple and red tones are complementary to Puma’s outerwear silhouette of tracksuit they are known to sell. Contrasting this, the looks also include towelling materials used in the collection’s jacquard shorts and matching hoodie that replicate ring-walk entrances and classic boxing robes. Fitting with Aries seductive bodycon products, there are playful patterns and cuts in the collection especially noted in the tribal laced dress for the more playful consumer.

This knockout collection embodies the strength, resilience and physical capabilities of these brands that continue to push the boundaries. Puma and Aries are invested in the brilliance that is born within the lifestyle and streetwear dynamic defining the limitless opportunities within clothing.

Summer is kicking off with a roundhouse of tribal design and combat sports design.
