Adidas Originals and Bad Bunny release the Adizero SL 72

Adidas Originals and Bad Bunny have fused together high fashion and retro running with the launch of the new Adizero SL72. 


Serving as a reinterpretation of adidas’ archives, the brands have cleverly bridged two eras and two iconic silhouettes into one revolutionary shoe. The shoe represents both the 70s and 00s, showcasing the classic SL 72 on its upper and the modern Adizero on its sole. Details include the Badge of Sport and the iconic Trefoil logo, which remains rich in heritage: the logo was first used 1972 and continues to be reworked into creative designs that push boundaries.


Adidas x Bad Bunny

Drawing inspiration from Bad Bunny’s boundary-breaking artistry – becoming the first artist to attain a No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 with a Spanish-language album - this drop reflects his spirit as a global icon and creative visionary. 


The campaign is inspired by the theme “Shift the Timeline,” and focuses on the interplay between these two decades. It uses digital touches such as double exposures, cropped photos, and mixed media handpicked from each era, inviting fans look to the future and honour the past by embracing modernity and innovation. 


Sign-ups for the Adizero SL 72 will be available in-store, on adidas.com/badbunny, and at adidas flagship stores from December 14th.
