Atlanta’s Thouxanbanfauni Gets “Deja Vu” In Newest Single

Clocking in just over two minutes, “Deja Vu” delivers an atmospheric, cosmic esque backdrop comprised of looped synth sustains; layered with a booming bass-line. Kicking off the track, Fauni begins to reel off lyrics in his signature stop-start flow, infused with a cloudy delivery to compliment spacey instrumental.  He raps, “Chemistry flip like a switch, the memory hit like a bitch, call it nostalgia, call it nostalgia, flashbacks pile up, Deja Vu”.  The rapper’s lyrics detail the pain caused  by his lover, his rap style is pronounced by short burst of lyrics, that bounce between past and present tense to evoke a sensation of reminiscence during.  Listen to Deja Vu below and on all streaming platforms!
