Safiyyah and KeepVibesNear Collaborate on Pensive Track 'Days Like This'

With her debut EP sparking conversation within the underground UK music scene last year, Safiyyah has now joined forces with alternative R&B artist KeepVibesNear on their NIKHIL Beats-produced single, with the song falling into themes of how our moods fluctuate in life.

The 23-year-old West-London-based songstress incorporates jazz and R&B tones throughout the track with firm basslines, a gradual snare and lethargic guitar but also harmonises perfectly with KeepVibesNear's mellow style. When speaking on the track Safiyyah stated that she wanted the track to be a reminded for people that we all do get stressed and have bad days "but to relax and enjoy life's beauties". With KVN finishing off the track with a sultry garnish, he also mentioned that “The song is about being present even when life is piling on top of you. Appreciating the journey because you know things get hard but you push through regardless.”
