Birmingham R&B crooner Chido Mya is back with her brand new single 'Can't Fight It.' The feel-good record comes off the back of May’s recently released project, titled 'What's Cooler Than Dreaming.'
Wearing her heart on her sleeve, May melodises over a uplifting and romanticised ambience; underpinned by an infectious guitar-filled backdrop. Atop, she lyrically illustrates an infatuation for a toxic lover - a common tale for many of us.
“Can’t Fight It is” about: “Trying to protect yourself by trying to fight the fact that your heart gravitates towards someone as a defence mechanism from potential heart break. The song has a very relatable theme about the internal battles we have personally, when it comes to emotions we find hard to control.” - Chido Mya
