Aaron Taylor Returns With Comforting New Single ‘Ebbs And Flows’

London-based soul and R&B musician Aaron Taylor is reminding us that it’s OK to take life at our own pace in new single ‘Ebbs and Flows’, his first release since his compelling debut album ICARUS (2020).

Combining his signature butter-smooth vocals with laid-back production and lyrics that we can all relate to, Taylor provides a sonic remedy for our slower days. With the ability to put us at ease like a warm hug, ‘Ebbs and Flows’ is a reminder that productivity isn’t everything and it’s normal for us to just do nothing sometimes. In the track’s supporting visuals, Taylor kicks back and enjoys some downtime and a little two-step in his apartment.

Sharing the inspiration for the new single, Taylor explains that “‘Ebbs and Flows’ is a song that sums up how life was for me over lockdown. I didn't get up to all that much but also was OK with that. It's about being content with the ups and downs of life and not breaking to the pressure of having to feel busy or purposeful.”

With a collaboration with GRAMMY Award-winning soul icon Lalah Hathaway and co-signs from tastemakers like Annie Mac and Trevor Nelson only making up a few of his accomplishments, Taylor is continuing to establish his timelessly endearing sound as an integral part of London’s soul and R&B scene.
