Atheniella
Series ‘Atheniella’ (A lesser known species of pink woodland mushroom) is inspired by British woodland and the different tones and textures you may find in nature in various layers of undergrowth. The series explores a girl in the woodlands and fields, becoming part of her surroundings as she discovers them and becomes entangled in them and enchanted by them.
“I grew up in Hampshire and so this series for me reflects on my fascination with nature as a child, especially things that are found on the lower forest floor and in amongst the layers of woodland underbelly.”
