Nigerian musician Odunsi the Engine is back with a new vibe accompanied by his biggest feature to date, Davido. In anticipation for Odunsi's next full length project Divine acts as the first single for the masses to engage with. Odunsi is a rapidly rising artist in the afrobeats scene but carries a slightly different sound to the rest and the release of 'Divine' seems to be showcasing his smooth and feel good sound.
The sound of what seems to be a xylophone, produced by 80 sounds and Davido, is carried out through the record as female vocalist, Sola King, provides the hook, supported by the afrobeats superstar. Odunsi is ready to make his impact on the industry with his next project and his musical talents are on display on this record. His ear catching melodies compliment the instrumental and Davido brings the energy to the song with his passionate vocals and lyrics.
Divine is short love story about Odusi and Davido detailing their dedicated love to their woman, yet the hook speaks from the perspective of their love interest, asking them to show her proof about their 'divine' love.
