Shaé Universe Shares Heartfelt Message On ‘LOML’

Shaé Universe draws us into her world with the affectionate ‘LOML’ (Love Of My Life), an intimate arrangement of soft love that captures the vast deepness of the feeling.

Produced by Sons of Sonix, the track drowns in that nostalgic 2000’s R&B approach that is daring in its vulnerability.

It’s build around the gentle acoustic guitar notes that act as the perfect foil for Shaé heartfelt expression to display her talents as the Londoner’s dreamy velvety tones and honeyed melodies showcases her technical ability as a singer.

Speaking on the new single, Shaé said “I remember writing ‘LOML’ like it was yesterday. I was in LA, it was early afternoon and the sun was beaming through the prettiest blue sky. I was in with producing duo SOS (Sons of Sonix) and my partner at the time decided to come to the studio with me that day.

I sat face-to-face with him, with my notes app open and began to write down the first things that came to heart. That’s how LOML was written. I drew my inspiration for the whole song directly from what I felt as I sat across from him.

This is definitely one of, if not THE most heartfelt song I have ever written as it was birthed from pure vulnerability & honeymoon love. It’s very special to me & I can’t wait for its timelessness to unfold.”

The track follows up the empowering ‘Passenger Princess’ and ‘Summertime’, where the singer featured for the very first time on the popular musical platform COLOURS.

Aiming to build further on past success, we cannot wait to experience this new era of Shaé that basks in her vulnerability and sensitivity.
