Artisanal One Presents Journal 01, First of a Series of Visual Poem by Adémidé Udoma

Adémidé Udoma is the artist and designer behind Artisanal One, Udoma sees the act of making as a responsibility, one where the maker must listen deeply before responding. “Universe talks, soul listens,” he writes in Journal 01, offering a guiding ethos for the practice. It is this listening to self, history and the unseen that shapes the output of Artisanal One. The practice’s first published piece, Journal 01, a visual poem and the first in an unfolding series. Udoma releases this visual poem by saying,“Through my travels, experiences and conversations, rebirth has become a constant rite of passage. I see the ability to create as a blessing — a privilege that should be treated accordingly. Therefore, the intention matters to me more than the outcome.”
