Adidas Originals and JJJJound Partner with José Mourinho for New Collection

Adidas Originals and design studio JJJJound have joined forces with football legend José Mourinho to unveil their latest collaborative collection. This collection, inspired by Adidas' rich sporting heritage, represents a fusion of quintessential football aesthetics and authentic storytelling, resulting in a seven-piece offering of apparel, accessories, and footwear.


The second collaboration between Adidas Originals and Montreal-based JJJJound builds on their successful partnership, following the launch of two collaborative colorways of the timeless Samba sneaker earlier this year. This new collection, set to release on June 27th on the CONFIRMED app, encapsulates the essence of football culture through meticulously designed pieces.


The apparel and accessories segment of the collection includes an all-black track top and pants, a sleek and stylish set that exudes a modern athletic vibe. The tonal white jersey is a versatile piece that blends classic sportswear with contemporary design. The black airliner bag serves as a practical yet fashionable accessory for everyday use. Additionally, the collection features a co-branded football and bag set, perfect for football enthusiasts, combining functionality with co-branded aesthetics.




At the heart of the collection is a fresh take on the classic Samba sneaker. This iteration features a tonal khaki colorway, a sophisticated shade that offers a fresh look while maintaining the iconic silhouette. The hairy suede upper adds texture and depth to the design, while the matching tongue and gum rubber outsole ensure both style and durability. Co-branded sock liners highlight the collaborative nature of the sneaker. Each pair is presented in a co-branded box with JJJJound tissue paper, enhancing the unboxing experience.



To celebrate the launch, the collection is accompanied by a meticulously curated campaign featuring José Mourinho, one of football's most iconic figures. The campaign, shot by photographer Liam MacRae, captures Mourinho against the backdrop of everyday Portuguese life. This setting pays homage to the enduring legacy of the Samba sneaker in sport and culture, emphasizing its relevance and timeless appeal.
