Updated: Jun 30
The Houston hot girl has released a follow-up to her album Suga which came after a dispute with her record label 1501 Certified Entertainment, who she claimed was restricting her from releasing new music.
The track samples the Eazy-E song ‘Boyz-N-The-Hood’, and is Megan's fourth single after 'Diamonds' with Normani, 'FREAK' with Tyga and 'B.I.T.C.H'. Her previous album Suga gained positive reviews from critics and fans alike and peaked at number 7 on the Billboard 200 chart.
The song features quintessential lyrics that talk about living a luxurious lifestyle, her approach to men and haters, whilst forming a steady trap beat. It's clear that Megan is in her own lane and creating history in the female rappers category.
Her track 'Savage' was also remixed by Major Lazer and collaborated with singer Beyonce, sparking global popularity. Listen to 'Girls in the Hood' right here and let us know what you think of Megan's new track.
