Manga Saint Hilare talks strength and self-growth in new single“Thoughts & Prayers” FT. Novelist

"Self-love, I had to learn it

I had a few detours, now I'm determined"

This new release from Grime veterans Manga Saint Hilare and Novelist displays the raw talent of these two heavyweight MC's as they join forces to ferocious effect, both of whom demonstrate lyrical flair on this menacing new track. As Manga drops pearls of wisdom over a vicious, low-ebb instrumental, the combination of Novelist’s spiritual bars and Manga’s self-aware expression creates serious impact.

‘Thoughts and Prayers’ is the latest release from Manga’s upcoming new album Make It Out Alive which is out on 3rd April. It is an excellent example of the more powerful messages Manga is promising to deliver on this new project - a significant new phase of his career, and one that is hotly anticipated. With his new body of work featuring the likes of P Money, Novelist, Jammer, Murkage Dave and Wiley, Manga continues to underline his reputation as one of the most talented and naturally gifted emcees in the game, with the style and pedigree to call on the cream of UK top-tier talent to play with.

The track itself navigates his journey though self-love and his humble confidence showcases a vulnerability that is not often glimpsed at in grime. Lyricism such as "And they don't get us? Oh well / We bounce back so well / We deal with trauma so well / And disappointment as well / We got us and that helps', eludes to a maturity, self-evolution, and growth that leaves us wanting to hear more.
