Updated: Mar 31, 2023

Returning with his new single ‘Energy’, West London rapper Digga D creates a space where he reflects on his rise to become one of the leading voices in the UK scene.

Coming to terms with his position in the industry the 22-year-old offers honest transparency as he shares his thoughts about the people around him and himself.

Produced by X10 & Hargo, ‘Energy’ is all about protecting what has been gained, but also on the track Digga remains cautious rejecting negative vibes.

Exploring the repercussions of his success such as jealousy, betrayal and in-authenticity. The Ladbroke Grove native takes an even closer look at how his past actions affect those closest to him.

Digga raps “When I look back all of us stressed our mothers in prison for five four summers/ mum aint dumb she’s clued up on what my crew does they step in with cutters.”

The accompanying video of ‘Energy’ now trending no.1 on YoutTube is shot in European cities Paris and Barcelona to highlight his now global appeal to a much wider audience.

This was proven last year when Digga D had arguably one of the most successful runs in 2022 in the lead up to his early 2000s inspired mixtape ‘Noughty By Nature’.

He released 50 Cent-inspired tracks ‘Hold You Down’ ‘What You Reckon’, and ‘Pump 101’ to pay homage to one of his biggest influences as a kid as well as to bridge the England-America Atlantic divide.
