THEY. kick off new era with single ‘Stop Playin’

After performing at several festivals across Europe this summer, including Wireless Festival, Drew Love and Dante Jones – better known as THEY. mark their return with brand-new single ‘Stop Playin’.

With the release of their EP “Fireside” last year, the duo demonstrated that they are not like that of your traditional music group. Influenced by R&B, hip-hop, rock and pop THEY. are best known for their ability to blur genre lines. Earlier this year THEY. teamed up with Dillon Francis to release ‘Til' I Die’ – a single that skilfully blends together rock and hip-hop.

In contrast, Stop Playin gives off a smooth and seductive, late-night-drive-vibe, that aims to mark a new chapter for the duo. In an official Instagram statement Drew Love states the following:

”We’re kicking off a new era with this one. We been in the studio putting the finishing [touches on] our next project for a while now and it’s finally ready to go.”

With THEY. returning to their R&B roots, it will be interesting to see what direction their upcoming project takes.
