Pop Smoke Presents New Single 'CHRISTOPHER WALKING'

Updated: Mar 27, 2022

Following a monumental collaboration with Travis Scott on his 2019 compilation album, 'JACKBOYS', the self-titled 'King of New York' is back, kicking off 2020 with his new single, 'CHRISTOPHER WALKING', and bringing accompanying visuals to the table.

Smoke presents us with yet another Brooklyn take on the drill genre - a unique sound which has brought the upcoming artist to fame in recent years, with hit tracks such as 'Welcome to the Party' and 'Dior', pushing his music far beyond his home town.

As for the title of the track, it is fair to assume that Pop Smoke is making reference to the drug kingpin, Frank White from the 1990 crime/drama, 'King of New York', a role which is of course played by legendary actor, Christopher Walken.
