Ojerime Returns With Self-Reflective Single "Empty"

Ojerime has returned with a brand new single and accompanied visuals for Empty.

Having taken a short break from music to focus on her mental health, the South London based singer and songwriter Ojerime has finally returned with her brand new single. Empty looks over the past 12 months of Ojerime's life where she reflects on her personal struggles. Known for putting her own twist on contemporary R&B, produced by Mansur Brown the track is enriched with a bass-heavy framework and melodic guitar riffs. Touching on issues regarding sexuality, depression and identity, Ojerime flows effortlessly over the instrumental. Set to be featured on her forthcoming mixtape Before I Breakdown, Empty sets the tone for what's yet to come.

Speaking on the track Ojerime said: “Empty' is a freestyle about being drained in every area of life, from friendships, career and love life. I offload all of this in a convoluted way because I'm going through so many emotions when writing this. The lyrics are relatable but the overall message is quite cryptic and personal to me.”
