Odunsi sings about being in a party setting with a woman craving his attention, he paints a vivid picture with his lyrics that ends in him offering this 'thirsty' woman a drink, a subtle piece of word play that falls nicely into the potent hook which causes the song to sit at millions of streams across all streaming platforms. Raye adds an important flair and female perspective to the record as she sings to her male interest about being under the influence but maintaining her poise and confidence. A few weeks pass after consistent radio play on many respected stations and the chic visual with a warm aesthetic arrives. The smooth and slowed down shots are a beautiful way of extenuating the cinematography of the visual, the subdued and consistent colour give the song a new feel.
