MT. LOW Release New Single 'Her Eyes on Me'

The Lo-fi music-art project duo released the single via their own label Only Dreaming.

Following their debut mixtape that was released earlier this year Lost of Love, Will who makes up half of the duo, revealed that the new single meant a lot to him.

"This song is both heartbreaking and triumphant for me. The lyrics are based around a moment when my partner was taken into intensive care. I had to come to terms with a lot of things: loss, love and vulnerability.”

The new track is accompanied by a video which has Matt, the other half of the duo, dancing amongst a sunset.

"These emotions resonated with me for a long time and I think you can really sense that vulnerability in the song and video. It says to me, letting go and being yourself is difficult and beautiful,” Will continues.

The pair started creating music after a trip to Beatty, Nevada changed their perspective. After travelling through the Mojave Desert and capturing the surreal landscape through a lens, their photography was published and their first single was released: 'Fade (Into View)'.

The lyrical content for "Her Eyes on Me" has been said to use a lot of parallel imagery from the Salton Sea.

"Shooting it was a real moment; right as the sun was setting, we just decided to stop on our drive home and film something–We did it all in one take and with no music. It’s a poignant moment watching Matt" Will says "When I watch the video, I feel that freedom of movement; a sense of being able to create on my own terms."
