Apple Bottom Jeans is Monét’s latest offering since her 6-track EP Off The Record which she released in 2019. Influenced by a wide catalogue of genres and styles, all of her previous works illustrate her unique soundscape as she fuses elements of New Jack Swing and old school Hip Hop into her sound. This track drips in seductiveness as she echoes the main line of the song “I can steal your heart with my apple bottom jeans”.

Through her poetic and multidimensional lyricism she talks about having a love interest that’s giving you all the right feels. When speaking about the song she says: “I want people to just feel good, feel sexy you know, especially with my ladies because I know everybody has felt that way before.
