L E M F R E C K Releases Visuals For His Hard Hitting New Single "LATE"

Welsh artist L E M F R E C K is back with a gritty sound and even grittier visuals to his single "Late". He leads us down a dark beat with rolling bass dressed in distortion. The track opens with a preacher explaining:"You might feel boujie right now but if you think about where you used to be” setting the tone for what is about to be a cinematic exploration of the night.

Reflecting the lyrical inspiration behind the track; which compiles a number of references but mainly addresses the opening theme, reminiscing on just where he used to be and in some cases still is. Though a black and white lense L E M F R E C K takes us to the environment that made him.

Growing up, he was heavily inspired by the exciting buzz and growth of UK urban scene. After the realisation of the vast under-representation of his country within the genre he decided to take matters into his own hand. Fueled by the disparity he began to build on the musical foundations built while producing in a local church, where his father was the pastor.

Eager to explore and experience the scene first hand the rapper remembers frequenting cities like Bristol and London to soak up the Pirate Radio culture. Now a fully formed artist after his first single "U GD?" Caused a wave through the UK scene, featured on Huw Stephens Radio 1 show. L E M F R E C K is that new sound waiting to explode.
