Kojo Funds posted on Instagram early this week hinting to new music coming soon, surprisingly this was followed by another Instagram post with a picture of himself and Wizkid captioned, “New single this week featuring Wizkid”. Instantly Kojo Fund fans were commenting the post with utmost excitement and optimism – we can only expect the best from Kojo Funds and Wizkid!
In good time, just before the weekend Kojo released his new single! Being a R&B fan, I instantly noticed that "I Like" samples Donell Jones “This Luv”, which is a R&B classic. “I Like” is a feel-good song with a “two step” vibe. We hear both Kojo and Wizkid explain what they like about their female counterparts throughout the song. The new single adheres with the afroswing style Kojo Funds has represented throughout his music career. The track is coupled with smooth backing vocals to compliment the melodic flow and up-tempo beat. This single has built momentum for Kojo Funds, we can only hope for more music and possibly an album soon.
