Premiere: Insightful Docu-Series, 'Seven' Looks Beyond The Artistry Of Geovarn

'Seven'. A brand new docu-series showcasing the lives of seven artists from the UK. These seven inspiring stories will be presented over seven consecutive weeks with Jay London at the helm as the host and creator. He'll be taking us through a day in the life of seven rising stars and so far has told the stories of artists such as Grace Carter and writer, producer Samm Henshaw and dancehall star Alicai Harley.

Hosted and produced by broadcaster and journalist, Jay London, we see him turn his love for these talented artists who are making an impact in music into a compelling show about the people behind the art. The documentary explores certain topics that allows Jay to also reflect on his own story providing moments of relatability for the viewers as well, all while we travel through key locations in each artist's journey to where they are now. Along with hosting the early breakfast show on Capital XTRA, Jay has become notorious in the scene for selecting the biggest tunes in hip hop and R&B. He has presented a number of projects including his Mixcloud show 'REEVWD' and documentaries about K Koke and young people breaking out of a trapped society. All these sides of Jay London are reasons why he is able to help these young artists open up about the highs and lows of their careers and personal lives.

Speaking on the doc-series, Jay London shares: "The number 7 is the seeker, the thinker, the searcher of truth

The 7 doesn't take anything at face value - it is always trying to understand the underlying, hidden truths.

The 7 knows that nothing is exactly as it seems and that reality is often hidden behind illusions."

The next episode, which premieres today, is from contemporary R&B singer 'Geovarn'. In this episode they delve into why R&B artists struggle to find success in the UK, raising a family and the purpose of this inspiring journey of Geovarn. Filmed in an intimate and unrestrained manner, this docu-series gives an insight to the lives of some of the UK's best artists right now.
