Ascending from South East London is 21 year old singer song-writer and self taught producer Dessireé.
After spending her formative years studying her influences and perfecting her writing and production skill Dessireé has returned with another release which also marks her first collaborative project with producer Emil.
The track ‘Peppermint Tea’ is the intersection of where Neo Soul and Bossa Nova cross paths. Carried by a simple bass groove and lyrics oozing with healing, this is the remedy for when our days seem to get overwhelming. Dessireé’s honeysuckle vocals glide over the production as she reminds us of the bliss that little things like drinking tea can bring us.
Dessireé’s creativity extends beyond her music and into her fashion and style, she is also a co-creator of the brand ‘KAIN’ which is a platform that explores the experiences of black women in society through fashion and documentaries.
