Houston X has just shared the visuals to his brand new release entitled The Forest.
Hailing from Slough, London artist Houston X comes through with a dark, melodic and buoyant track The Forest. Produced by Diego, The Forest is an expression of secrets and using “what we did in The Forest” as a potential tool for revenge. Showcasing his versatility, Houston X flows effortlessly between his signature housing melodies layered over the contemporary trap instrumental. Setting pace for his own space within the U.K music scene, Houston X is one to watch out for this year.
Growing up in Slough where uniqueness was scarce, his friend opened up to a world he wasn’t used to; Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboy Carti were then his daily soundtrack and go-to’s for inspiration. After being exposed to these artists, thats when he found the kings of individuality Kid Cudi and Travis Scott. Their totally unique atmospheric, ethereal and airy beats were something he’d never heard before and ultimately struck a chord within him. He now brings this energy to this side of the pond, taking inspiration from all of his favourite artists and marching to his own beat.
