Hailing from Houston, the multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter, Hamond, although based overseas is highly influenced by the U.K Garage scene. Known for it's percussive rhythm, hi-hats, snares and renowned 'chopped up' style of production, the budding artist started producing for artists local to him before surfacing from the shadows and coming out as his own artist in latter end of 2018. Today, Hamond has graced supporters with his brand new and highly anticipated music video for his recent drop titled, 'HOTEL ZAZA'.
Set to feature on his forthcoming 'Source Material' EP that is dropping on October 23rd, 'HOTEL ZAZA' pays homage to that highly cherished U.K Garage sound that we have all grown to love. Following up from his previous single, 'Never Know', he switched up the sparse and emotionally driven chords for a more up-beat and nonchalant feel. Sampling Artful Dodger’s 'Rewind', Hamond coated the well-known hit with his signature spacious, and Electronic-Pop wave of sound, adding a woozy and dream-like touch to the track.
Accompanied with an artistic visual, his conceptual ideas only solidify that he grew up in a creative household whom are deep-seated within the realm of fashion and art. Pushing boundaries, this glossy visual experience unveils evocative vignettes and stands as a bold statement of intent from the ascending artist.
