Headie One Documents The Duality Of Music x Road On His Latest Project

Headie One is at the forefront of UK Hip-hop at this current juncture. Making his ways through the Uk scene with major hits such as Know Better and Of Course, Headie One has been one of the most consistent artists in various sub-genres. As he candidly proclaims in his lastest runawy hit song 'Both', accompanied by a Luxury/Trap infused visual, Headie One Raps "They call me the king of Drill. Trap. Rap / I'm doing it all". He definitely is.

Headie One is not your average Drill artist with viciously abrasive and violent lyrics. His demeanor is reflected in his lyricism as he combines the high energy impact of Drill instrumentals with clever lyrics and witty verses that blur the lines on the surface but say enough to excite those in the know. Headie One has undoubtedly had one of the most focused and successful build-ups to a release that we have seen in a long time. Singles such as 18Hunna ft Dave, All Day, Back To Basics ft Skepta and Robbery Bandz were released with lush visuals to accompany the different sounds of the Tottenham based artist. He showcases his ability to rap with the best from both the new and seasoned generations, while giving the people the original essence of Headie One on songs such as All Day. Headie also tests the waters with more viberant sounds in Robbery Bandz, giving listerners an insite into some of the ambitious sounds that Headie One experiments with on this project.

Features include Stefflon Don, Nav, Krept & Konan and of course his partner in musical crime RV. Speaking of, this project is appropriately titled as Headie One documents his involvements in the streets or 'Road' while tapping into new sounds musically and growing in the industry.
