The duo that includes singer Daniel Daley and producer Nineteen85 are known as Dvsn. They released a few singles in 2019 however, their last body of work was released in 2017. It seems that Dvsn will be back in full swing this year starting off with their new single “A Muse”. The production has Nineteen85’s name written all over it! We see Nineteen85 sample Lonnie Liston Smith’s “A Garden of Peace” and adds his own twist. Dvsn’s sound is truly inimitable with inspiration from alternative RnB and soul. The song begins with the chosen sample followed by the bass and percussion, then later we are introduced to Daniel Daley’s soulful and passionate vocals. The layers within the song’s instrumentation are noticeable and warranted making “A Muse” another example of Dvsn’s technical and musical ability.
