Drunken Masters Give Us Views From The ‘Top Floor’ In New Visuals, Featuring: Ben Esser, Kelvyn Colt

German production duo Drunken master’s enlist the help of Ben Esser, Kelvyn Colt and 24HRS. To create a motivational track, that you can’t help but vibe to.

Today, we received the visuals for ‘Top Floor’ following the singles official release, last Thursday. Since then it has accumulated over 40,000 streams on Spotify and the quirky visuals are set to do just as well.

Although, the duo are best known for combining elements of bass, electronic and trap sounds to create thrilling dance tracks. The pair switch things up on this one, with features from classically trained pianist and producer Ben Esser, German rap phenom Kelvyn Colt and American singer-songwriter and rapper 24HRS.

This installation was written by the artists as a collective and was mixed and mastered by Yunus. It layers compelling piano riffs, rich brassy compositions and uplifting percussion, to inspire ‘feel good’ vibes.

Kelvyn Colt and 24HRS kick things off, by working in harmony to lay down smooth melodies. Throughout, the pair discuss their lavish lifestyles, referring to themselves as ‘VIP, Allstars’ whilst boasting ‘I just copped a new car, 50 carats in my ring I’m a rabbit’.

The lyrics ‘We be on the top floor’ are used repetitively throughout, to reference the artists reaching the highest points in each of their careers. A term that for many of us signifies wealth and success. It’s clear that this track acts as celebratory offering, that they hope will be motivational to those who strive for success.

“Started back then in the basement, work rate 100 everyday, had to level up look around us now. Hey, view is amazing.”

The visuals begin with Actor Jona Hasen entering an elevator. What floor will he get off?.. The top floor, of course!

However along the journey, we are met with several appearances that will be familiar to German fans. Each encounter, subjects the actor to some pretty interesting situations, along with a cameo from Rapper Kelvyn Colt. For the collective it was important to translate that, although the ‘Top Floor’ indicates reaching the ultimate stages of your career. It also stands for being at the ‘Top’ of your life - from jamming to your favourite song to having your first child and everything in between.
