Chris Brown Releases Anticipated Album 'Indigo'

After releasing the first hit single Undecided off the album at the start of this year. The anticipation of waiting to hear an announcement of a new album was high. Chris Brown's work rate never goes unknown, Indigo is his ninth studio-album. Dropping single after single and appearing in various features already this year, we already knew Indigo was going to consist of an array of bangers in time for summer.

Following up from the release of Heartbreak on a Full Moon back in 2017 which was made up of 45 tracks, Indigo is 32 tracks long and doesn't lack in features. Made for the summer, the album has a mix of both slow R&B records like Girl Of My Dreams as well as chart-worthy hits which will have you in your feelings and living it up on the dance floor. Collaborating with Nicki Minaj, Drake, H.E.R, Lil Wayne, Justin Bieber, Trey Songz, Tank and more it's only bound to bang. Prior to releasing the album, Chris dropped one of the lead singles No Guidance which features Drake. No Guidance on it's own is a hit, the pair have had there ups and downs and this track is there first proper one-on-one single together.

Another surprising single released prior to the album was Heat with Atlanta's Gunna. The pair compliment each other perfectly floating over the melodic beat filled with light synths. Another stand out single from the album is Wobble Up featuring both Nicki Minaj and G-Eazy. The visuals for the track have gathered over 30 million views but not everyone has been happy with them. According to various creative's, they feel as if they have been ripped off from their original idea's and work's without any credit being provided.

Overall, the album is a good all-round project for the summer covering all aspects from slow R&B to nights out in the club. The album is expected to move around 110-135k copies within its first week including pure sales which will almost guarantee a No.1 spot in the album charts.
