Hailing from Chicago is Hamond. Posing as a new proposition to the musical landscape; Hamond today releases his first single of 2020, Outside.
The multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter, Hamond grew up surrounded by an artistic family and immersed in fashion and art. Moving to Southwest Houston during his formative years, he formed an early synergy between art and music and began producing for local artists before channeling his creativity and uploading his own music to SoundCloud in late 2018.
New offering Outside is a sharp statement of intent from the 23 year old newcomer. An introduction to his spacious, defined and electronically-weighted production, seamlessly paired with intricate songwriting and classic pop song structures; it's a sound set to become synonymous with Hamond.
Commenting on the single, Hamond said; "Outside was inspired by the feeling of anticipation you get when waiting for someone you’re in a new relationship with to come outside and meet you.” explains Hamond. “They’re getting ready and you’re waiting with excitement, anxiety, and for that moment/night nothing else matters"
