Armani Caesar Serves Some Culture With Her Debut Album: 'The Liz'

The new recruit of Griselda also known as the First Lady of Griselda Records has wowed listeners with her expressive new project and debut from the label 'The Liz'.

After releasing her first Griselda single last month titled 'Simply Done' featuring fellow label-mate Benny The Butcher and produced by the influential DJ Premier; this was only a taste of what Buffalo rapper Armani Caesar had in store for us perfectly complimenting the signature raw rap flow and style that Griselda exudes.

The impressive 11 track album titled after actress Elizabeth Taylor and Wresting manager Miss Elizabeth depicted on the body sides of the album; includes features from other central members of Griselda including Westside Gunn and Conway the Machine. As well as production from DJ Premier, hip hop/trap producer 808 Mafia collaborates on the album too.

"I'm dropping THE LIZ for the culture. For all the people that grew up loving hip hop for the art of it not just the beats. I've studied this and I'm so proud of this body of work. I want to dedicate this to Demetrius "DJ Shay" Robinson. The first person to ever take a chance of me musically. He believed in my talent long before anybody else knew my name. There would be no Armani Caesar if it hadn't been for him. So I'm doin this one for Shay. I hope it makes him proud" ~ Armani Caesar.

As a debut entrance, the emcee has definitely showed she has a lot to say through her confident and fun bars even down to her song titles which display her gritty yet playful style. Undeniably, Armani Caesar will be one to watch in the coming years, so as said in her words on 'Simply Done' I'm just giving you facts!

The Tracklist includes:

Sissy Intro

Countdown

Mac 10s for Everybody (Ft. Westside Gunn)

THE LIZ

Gucci Casket (Ft. Conway the Machine)

Drill a RaMa (Ft. BENNY THE BUTCHER)

Simply Done (Ft. BENNY THE BUTCHER)

Yum Yum

Palm Angels

Ginger Rothstein

Mani Moves Freestyle

Each song delivers and maintains a vibe throughout that makes it hard to forget the rapper's saucy flow. From the hustler mood and storytelling of 'Mac 10's for Everybody' to the braggadocios and raunchy sounds of 'Gucci Casket' and 'Yum Yum'. Miss "Oh she f***** didn't" knows exactly how to ride a beat and allude a certain level of female empowerment ambience in her tracks.
