Arlo Parks Stuns With 'Second Guessing'

19-year-old South London Native Arlo Parks has been charming us all with her self made brand of generationally conscious lo-fi bedroom pop, layered thick with poetic imagery and lyrics always told via a delicately shadowy vocal. Following on from her debut EP 'Super Sad Generation' comes 'Second Guessing' co-written with Oscar Scheller. Parks describes the track as "An exploration of the existential misery that comes from a desire to be successful in a way that pleases everyone. However it's also a song about strength and the possibility of self fulfilment". Parks is set to release her brand new EP 'Sophie' on November 29th via Beatnik and Transgressive, and it's sure to be a highly insightful and relatable listening experience, leaving us both warm and wistful true to her unique style. It's safe to say with Parks music less is more, she creates plentiful space for lyrics and melodies to breathe and grow and delivers the message in a heartfelt and raw manner, no unnecessary trickery here. Check out the visuals to 'Second Guessing' below.

Eating Parma violets,

On the way back from therapy,

Bleeding out on a velvet couch,

They're kinda worried about me...
