Akheim Allen Returns With Brand New Single 'SIR'

Following on from last year’s explosive reintroduction with ‘Wavs Dnt Die’ and ‘Memo’, North London Rap Artist and Producer Akheim Allen has returned with his dynamic new single 'SIR' premiering the video via The Fader earlier this month. The track was produced by Octavian, Stormzy, Ebenezer, Melii and Koder collaborator O12 and is the first of two offerings to be released between now and the end of the year. Recommended if you like the lyricism and wordplay of Wretch 32, Avelino and Jay Prince, the Edmonton native is fast-emerging as one of the best rappers coming out of North London, while his skills as a producer (Wretch 32, Yxng Bane, WSTRN) makes him a definite cut above his peers. With Allen set to release his brand new EP in 2020, he is undoubtedly one to keep a very close eye on.

The track is accompanied by a gripping music video, shot and directed by exciting newcomers B2 Creative, In ‘SIR’ Allen speaks about hustling back to back, and doing whatever is necessary to achieve his goals, all while showcasing his captivating flow, writing skills and commanding presence, Speaking about the inspiration for his new single ‘SIR’ Allen says:

“I like to write real and honest music, in the hopes of connecting with people that have been through similar situations that I have been through. With ‘SIR’, I wanted to show my supporters where I'm at and where I aim to go, so when O12 sent me the beat, I thought it was the perfect canvas to open up about this important stage in my life and share my growing pains with listeners”.
