Poet and creative writer Verse Writer announced the release of her debut EP in collaboration with rapper/songwriter King Solomon. This project comes after a string of live performances and showcases at various events around the UK to promote the project.
Ancient History the EP explores a myriad of themes such as the marginalisation of African feminist history ,police brutality, white privilege as well as black women's resistance. At a time were identity, race and politics are as important as ever, this EP helps move certain conversations and minds in the right direction.
The 5 Track project is a blend of spoken word and musicality that touches on strong topics in a soothing but effective manner with highlights of uplifting content and engaging melodies.
