EP: GROWTH V1 by Daniel Adé

‘GROWTH V1' by Daniel Adé is the first of a three part series by the UK lyricist. After a 2 year gap since his last project to cultivate and develop his sound he is back with a 4 track offering that is sure to catch the attention of the industry. After fine tuning the concept of a project called 'Growth' for a long time, he finally feels as though now is the time to show his growth during the past 2 years.

He describes the series by explaining ''The series is about me showing growth within my music as well as my growth as a person. I graduated from uni about a year ago and this last year has given me the chance to concentrate on my self-development, to work on love and relationships, and to rediscover some self-love. The entire project is self-produced and the last song features a couple of lines courtesy of my little sis. I’m currently working on the rest of the trilogy."

The opener 'Twenty Two' is a brash opener that showcases the hunger that Daniel has, with a smooth bridge that creates a subtle connection between the aggression in his lyrics to the atmospheric instrumental, definitely a stand out on the EP. A beautiful sample of Mall Grab's 'Cant' is a relaxing introduction to the 3rd track 'Feels', another must listen on the EP. The screwed sample puts the listener in a trance, then is suddenly broken by the piercing vocals of Daniel Adé as he speaks on a love interest as well as refocusing his energy on getting his mother a million. this project is certainly a step in the right direction.
